Bible Reading and Comprehension!
Question: I am reading the Bible and have just come to the first bit of Genealogy and have become disheartened at reading the rest. Is the Bible mostly story or is it mostly line of names?
What you are saying is understood by all Bible readers. In my own case, I came to a method which gave me a skeletal view, which I filled in over time, and which increased my desire to know more as and when the need arose.
The Bible is one of the most intense books I have ever studied; which when one realises is the mind of Almighty God on record for the purpose of drawing in people of good will to Him, makes the journey very rewarding, as much is revealed over time, which is not apparent in early study!
I still have to use “Crudens” to help find verses, but that will continue, as long as I am here!
Don’t be discouraged, as it is a life’s journey, with massive reward!
